Help Kayla Explore Her Passion for Animal Care!

I never imagined I'd be using this platform, but this cause is deeply important—not just to me, but especially to my daughter, Kayla. My name is Samara, and I’m the proud mom of Kayla and Maui. As a parent, I’ve always believed in supporting my children’s passions, encouraging them to explore experiences that shape their futures.

Recently, I discovered an incredible summer program that offers students the chance to travel abroad and engage in hands-on learning with ocean life, ecosystems, and wildlife conservation. Their mission is to "challenge and inspire participants to learn, grow, build new skills, and become better global citizens through hands-on discovery, travel, and interaction with the world’s oceans, ecosystems, and wildlife." This could not be more perfect for Kayla, who dreams of becoming a veterinarian!

She has set her heart on the Bahamas Island Explorer trip, where she’ll gain hands-on experience working with animal conservation centers, farms, and rescues—a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to bring her passion to life. Seeing her light up at the thought of this experience reminds me how important it is to nurture our children's dreams and show them that their goals are within reach.

As amazing as this program is, it comes with a significant cost. I am determined to make this happen for Kayla, and I am reaching out to family, friends, colleagues, and kind-hearted supporters to help us turn this dream into reality. Any contribution, no matter the size, will bring her one step closer to this incredible opportunity.
