Hi everyone,

My name is Kayla, and I’m a 29-year-old single mother, hairstylist, lash tech, and student living in Huntsville, AL, originally from St. Louis, MO. On October 10th, my life changed unexpectedly when I was tragically involved in a 3-person car accident in Harvest, AL. I was rushed to the hospital with critical internal injuries, which required emergency bile duct and abdominal surgery. I spent five days in the trauma center at Huntsville Hospital before being released to continue my recovery at home.

I’m the proud owner of Gazing Goddess LLC, a beauty business I’ve built over the past five years. I’m a licensed natural hairstylist, braider, and 3x certified lash technician. Before becoming a full-time entrepreneur, I worked for Superhero Chefs (Huntsville, AL) for three years. This past year, I’ve been working solely for myself—building my dream and providing for my 6-year-old daughter, Tiana.

Due to my injuries, I’m currently unable to work or take clients, which has made it difficult to manage expenses. I’m asking for any blessings or contributions to help cover medical costs, groceries, household bills, business expenses, and daily care for Tiana while I recover.
