It is with profound sadness that we share the unexpected passing of Michael Alan Ingram, a sweet and cherished baby boy who was taken from us far too soon.
Michael was nothing less than a miracle, coming into the world early at 33 weeks, weighing only 2 pounds, and spending a long 7 weeks in the NICU at UC Davis with his mommy never leaving his side. Mike took on the hard role of caring for their other 4 children in Susanville, all while working to provide for their family, while Kayla spent time in the NICU with baby Michael. Mama and baby coming home to their family was the happiest time for them all after being apart for so long. Michael was the strongest little boy and grew to be such a happy, healthy, and very loved little boy. These last 7 months spent with baby MJ will be cherished forever, and nobody prepares you for the time spent with your child to be cut short. No parent should have to plan their child’s funeral, especially while grieving and trying to support their other 4 children who are grieving the loss of their baby brother who was their whole world.
We are reaching out to friends, family, and kind-hearted individuals in our community to help support this wonderful family. They are facing not only the overwhelming grief of their loss but also the unexpected financial burdens that come with such a tragedy.
The funds raised will go towards helping cover funeral expenses, medical costs, and to ease the financial strain during this unimaginable time of mourning.
No parent should have to endure the loss of a child, and your contributions—whether through donations or sharing this page—will provide much-needed comfort and help the family navigate through these heartbreaking days.
