Update: Kaye’s stroke recovery is going well. Her speech and comprehension is still a work in progress. Kaye is not well enough to return to work and was let go from her employer. Due to her not having insurance in between jobs we were able to apply for Cobra insurance thru her previous employer. As many of you know, Cobra is extremely expensive at $3,000 per month. So you can imagine how fast the $10,000 in donations we received went to pay for just 3 months of health insurance. It is very hard for our family to ask for help again. I understand how Covid has taken a toll on people’s income. If you are able to donate for the first time or even a second time it would be a blessing. I wish I had enough money to be able to pay for everything but we just don’t. Kaye’s savings and go fund me is depleted. Kaye was able to apply for disability and this process sometimes takes months for all the paperwork to go through. Until then, we thank you all for the prayers and your support through all this and hope we can all help Kaye get in a better financial situation until her disability insurance is accepted. Love to you all ❤️.
Please help and support the most important mother, sister, grandma, aunt and friend in our lives Kaye Denton.
Kaye, suffered from a stroke on October 2nd, 2020. Her son Ethan, who is a nurse, found her in their home and she was rushed to the hospital. She had emergency surgery to remove a blood clot in the left side of her brain. Since that day, she has been recovering and has been slowly gaining back motor functions, brain functions as well as her speech. She has a long road ahead of her with aftercare and therapy when she leaves the hospital. Unfortunately, during this time, Kaye is in between jobs and has no health insurance. We tried applying for Medicaid and she was denied. We are very worried for her health, her care and her financial future.
Please donate any amount you can big or small to help her recover from this huge financial burden.
We Love you Kaye! And we will support you 100% thru all of your care and recovery. Thank you all so much for the help!
Love, Angie, Nate & Ethan
