Saying Farewell to Kaye

Update 3-27-21

First, I would like to thank everyone for donating and supporting Kaye, her son and their family in this tragic time in their lives.  Kaye did unfortunately loose the battle and has since passed on 3-26-21 at 8:05AM.

This all seems like a bad dream as we can not believe it is actually happening.  She was a beautiful soul and for her life to be cut so short is truly heartbreaking.  Her family would like every single one to know that your generosity is greatly appreciated. All of the money that has been raised and will continue to be will go towards Kaye's funeral as there was no life insurance in place.

Please continue to spread the word and share the link as her son and her house will still need to be taken care of and arranged for.

Update: 3-23-21

Hi everyone.  Kaye took a turn for the worse and had another stroke  seizure and they had to put the catheter back in and respirator.

The bleeding started again and was entering more parts of her brain and they had to perform emergency surgery again. They are considering it terminal due to the spread of the blood. The doctors say that the chances of her waking up are slim.

They said this stroke was much worse than the 1st one. Her organs are all ok but her brain and vessels are the ones that are damaged/weakened due to her diagnosis of the MoyaMoya.

Story:

Kaye and her son Zack recently got over Covid and after her quarantine was done she began feeling better and went back to work the next day.

She just closed on a house and has been very excited to move in and start a new chapter with her and her son.

On Saturday evening Everything seemed normal as always. She went to bed woke up the next day and suffered a major stroke.

Kaye’s neurologist believes she has a rare disease called MoyaMoya. With her having ITP (low platelets) they can’t risk taking her off of the ventilator or the catheter because her chances of having another stroke is very high and the likelihood of survival will be minimal.

She is a fighter!

She’s pretty strong on the right side of her body and a little more responsive. The neurologist is meeting with a board of other specialists consisting of other neurologist and hematologists about this case and coming up with the best plan of treatment moving forward and agreement of diagnosis.

In the meantime, she is stable in the ICU and hooked up to all the machines. As of right now, they need to let the brain heal some more before any sort of “next move” can happen.

This go fund me is to help with moving expenses and to keep her mortgage going as she continues to recover from this horrible situation.
