Hello, I'm Kayde. About two months ago, my girlfriend's car died while idling and it hasn't turned back on since. I did a decent amount of work on it to get it moving again, but I could never track down what it was. I suspect it to be something outside of the scope of tools in my shop. Being a car pre-scan tool with a limited "brain," it's not simple for me to solve, and it doesn't seem to have logged any sensor codes. It seems like a compression problem, but I'm still working on it.
I'm asking for help because she currently has two jobs and needing to borrow other people's cars and get rides to work is extremely taxing on her. The sooner I can either get it to a shop or get the tools to fix it, the better. Shops are unfortunately pretty pricey these days, and the job on it will likely not be cheap. In my state, a good reliable car would be worth much more than a trip to the shop, so I've elected to fix it instead of scrapping it.
Anything helps. I've set the total a bit high in case labor ends up being pricey, and I will also need to have it towed, which is also not cheap. Please help my girl get back to work and get her car back.
