Hello! My name is Kaya and I am a 25-year-old opera singer currently working on my Artist Diploma at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. I also work as a voice teacher four days a week, a graduate assistant, and a cleaning lady to pay my bills.
Over the last five years, I have had a myriad of varying dental issues including impacted wisdom teeth, two root canals, six fillings, multiple crowns, and Invisalign treatment. This all stems from a lack of dental care growing up and a genetic predisposition to dental issues. Even with insurance, these costs have amounted to over $12,000 that I have been paying off gradually over time via Care Credit. My Invisalign is $500 away from being completely paid off, but I am still in need of an additional $2,300 to get a crown and two fillings completed. My plan was to pay this off via Care Credit, but I received a letter from Care Credit today which stated they were lowering my credit limit by half due to my high balance. I am very distressed by this and seeking help in my time of need to complete this very necessary work given my profession.
Thank you for taking the time to read and thank you to anyone who decides to contribute in any way, big or small.
