In Loving Memory of Kay Williams
On April 2, the close-knit community of Sabattus, Maine suffered a heartbreaking loss. Katherine “Kay” Williams—a beloved mother, friend, coach, and bright light in so many lives—was tragically taken from us far too soon.
Kay was the kind of person who made everyone feel seen, valued, and loved. Whether she was cheering on her daughters from the sidelines, lighting up the dance floor as an adult tapper, or volunteering in the community, she brought joy and warmth to every space she entered. She gave selflessly—always ready with a smile, a hug, or a word of encouragement. She made people feel like family.
She was a proud dance mom, field hockey supporter, equestrian enthusiast, and above all, a devoted wife to her husband and loving mother to three daughters. The world feels dimmer without her radiant presence.
This tragedy has left a beautiful family shattered. As they navigate unimaginable grief, we’re asking for support to help Kay’s daughters during this transition. Your generosity will go toward easing financial burdens and allowing them to focus on healing and honoring their mother’s legacy. Funds will be transferred into a bank account that Kay's husband, Andy, is a joint owner of and he will access the funds as needed to ensure financial and emotional stability of their daughters.
