Help Kay Secure Legal Representation

Hi, I’m Bambi, and I’m setting up this fund on behalf of my dear friend Lamar, who is determined to ensure that our friend Kay receives the support she desperately needs. Kay has bravely escaped an abusive relationship, and is now in a battle for custody of her child. Her abuser has the resources to hire top legal representation—something Kay cannot afford.

Kay is a fighter. She’s tried to represent herself, but the judge has strongly advised her to find a lawyer. As a community rooted in faith, we believe in the power of prayer, generosity, and taking action.

This fund is to help Kay secure a lawyer and cover the legal fees she needs to continue her fight for justice. Our goal is to raise £12,000 in the next four weeks as well as a barrister in family law (ideally yesterday).
