This past year has been incredibly challenging for me. I've suffered three separate foot injuries in less than a year, and most recently, I broke my foot. As a bartender, my job requires me to be on my feet for long hours, and now, because of this injury, I am unable to work. My husband, Riley, is doing his best—working during the day, completing homework, attending school, and now taking on the responsibility of caring for me, our cats and dogs, and our home. With only one income and my inability to contribute, things have become very difficult for us.

The funds raised here will go directly toward covering the deposit for my much-needed procedure, as well as aftercare expenses like medication and post-op visits. In addition, your support will help us manage our monthly bills and daily living expenses, including rent, insurance, electricity, groceries, and caring for our beloved pets.

Every little bit helps us stay afloat while I recover and work toward getting back on my feet—literally and figuratively.

If you know me, you know I have a heart of GOLD, a little rough around the edges, but it’s still pure.
