My name is Addie and I am raising funds for my mom Kay, who recently lost her home and all of her belongings to the Pack Fire. She has been a local to the Eastern Sierra for over 40 years and lived in McGee Creek for the past 36 years. Many know her as the lady with all of the animals, in particular the Alpaca who used to greet visitors, skiers, and anyone using the back road to access McGee Canyon. She raised 5 children in that special place, along with more animals than we can count. It is the only home she has ever known here, and it breaks our hearts to think about the financial burden she and all of the other people affected will face. I am hoping to raise enough money to ease that burden over the next few months, any help is very much appreciated. So much love to everyone affected by this tragedy.
