Help Kay pay for chemo and medical bills

Kay is our dear friend, a single mom with 2 daughters (one of which lives at home and is a senior in high school) and 3 grandkids. Her immediate family lives in Europe and is not close by. Her friends are her family.
In August 2019, Kay was diagnosed with stage 3 triple-negative breast cancer – the most aggressive form of breast cancer. She underwent a very aggressive form of chemotherapy for 4 months then had a double/bilateral mastectomy along with the removal of 7 lymph nodes in her left arm.
In June of 2021, after Kay noticed two lumps under her left arm, she went back to the doctor. After CAT scans, bone scans, MRI’s and a biopsy, she sat in the office of her oncologist and heard the words, “It is cancer. Triple-negative cancer, again”. Her memory at that moment was, “I was speechless. All I could do was stare at my daughter, Jordan, who was sitting next to me. Deep breath. How can this be true? My mind was in disbelieve. Cancer cells in my lymph nodes where they can move around from organ to organ. I knew what it meant to find cancer cells in the lymph nodes. Fear was breathing down the back of my neck; I remember my doctor’s concerned words and urgency in her voice. All I could think about was .. the cancer is back!”.
Kay went through surgery immediately. The doctors removed 7 cancerous tumors in her lymph nodes. Kay now suffers from Lymphedema in her left arm — a result of removing too many lymph nodes — and is triggered by the most mundane tasks, such as lifting a grocery bag. Consequently, our Superwoman is no longer able to get infusions in that area or perform simple activities to avoid the inflammation, swelling, and pain that results from her lymphedema.
In September, Kay started radiation 5 days a week for 6 weeks while continuing to work a full-time job. In November, Kay began her daily chemotherapy treatments of 8, 500MG pills a day. Kay continued to work, even when doctors urged her to take a medical leave of absence, but she needed to work to maintain her benefits. Kay has had terrible side effects from the chemo. She is in immense pain and now walks with a cane. The cancer is now in her blood. The chemo is working as the counts in her blood have gone down.
Then, on December 23rd, 2021, the unthinkable happened. Kay lost her job unexpectedly before the request for Medical Leave of Absence could be approved, which her oncologist submitted to her employer on her behalf. Now Kay has no insurance to cover her chemotherapy.
God has put on my heart a desire to help Kay financially. She has been a career woman all her life. She is independent and not used to asking for help. But it is time. She has used up her savings. The cost of her chemotherapy is $2,000/month out of pocket; she has a mortgage and a 17-year-old daughter to support, not to mention medical bills.
As you can imagine, Kay and her family are under enormous stress, and they have no family in the US to support them.
Kay is a beloved disciple of Christ and is such a warrior. She is so brave. Despite all that has happened to her, she continues to be positive, have hope and thank Jesus every day for providing for her needs.
Please help me be the hands and feet of Jesus for her. Any contribution, big or small, pulled together can go a long way to help pay her expenses. All donations are appreciated.
