Hello!

For those of you that know Kawana, you know she is a person who is willing to give someone the shirt off of her back. She bears the stress of others & constantly worries about them. And, she selflessly puts others before herself to a fault.

Very early Saturday (12/27/25) morning Kawana ended up in the hospital, intubated & fighting for her life. Her own heart was drowning her. A mass in her heart was pressing on the pulmonary valve allowing blood to fill the lungs. By God's own hand, Kawana woke up able to tell Jamie that she needed for him to call 911. While Kawana is now awake & responsive, she is still in the ICU & intubated. We are currently waiting on the cardiologists to tell us what approach will be taken to remove the mass in full, repair the valve & figure out what the mass is & what caused it to form so rapidly.

She is facing an uphill battle at this time. Kawana & Jamie both work full-time. They are a two income household. We are unsure of a timeline for Kawana to return to work & of course Jamie will be staying by her side as much as possible which means he will be missing work. Not to mention the mountain of medical bills they will be facing.

At this time, we are asking for anyone so inclined to not only join us in prayer for Kawana's recovery but to also give a small gift to help alleviate some of the stress they are facing.
