Kaveesha, the daughter of my friend Shashi, wants to attend university, but her parents cannot afford it.

Shashi was our driver in Sri Lanka in 2019, he gave his best effort to make our trip the most memorable! He is a hard-working guy and a very loving father. We quickly became great friends! But since he works in the tourism industry, Covid has hit them hard, and then they suffered through the economic collapse in Sri Lanka in recent years. Shashi and his family have had a terrible time coping. We've been in contact with them since then; his two daughters Ranuthi and Kaveesha are so sweet and smart and driven!

And now Kaveesha wants to attend university and be able to help her parents and her sister have a better future! She dreams of studying business management. She hopes to have good work opportunities this way and aspires to start her own business someday! She has already found a good potential program at the University of Nawaloka, and although it's a low-cost university, it still requires a budget beyond her family's abilities. Her father keeps working and gathering money for her, but it's not enough, and university programs start soon, so time is pressing.

This fundraiser is aimed at gathering money for her university fees. The ultimate goal is to collect 80% of her total tuition fees, which amounts to 9000 CHF. This would make a world of difference in this lovely family's lives!
