Hello! My name is Shawn Reason. I’m starting a GoFundMe page for my fiancé, Katy Hernandez. Katy is one of those rare types of people who lights up any room she walks into. Her smile and her joy are contagious.

Since the beginning it’s been a crazy rollercoaster. Physically, mentally, emotionally, & spiritually. The cancer turned to stage 4 very quickly. Many many hospital stays and ER trips. Now we have started treatments that she couldn’t do while pregnant. She is taking a lot of medications each day and is in medically induced menopause at age 27. It’s a lot for Katy. She continues to smile regardless of the pains, when she’s concerned we go to the hospital. As we have and have learned the cancer spread to her brain causing 22 tumors all over her brain. Katy just underwent her cyber knife radiation treatment for those tumors. We have to wait 2 more months to check. Katy is feeling better and having less symptoms. There’s very good days & sometimes not good days & that’s okay. Katy is on 2 injections as another form of treatment. There’s so much that comes with this life. Any donation helps us tremendously. Katy also stays at home with our beautiful baby boy everyday and is such a great mother. She is a fighter & refuses to give up! Now we continue treatment and get scans and keep eyes on everything.
