Hi! I’m Katt and on Tuesday, September 30th, my car was stolen I had a 2011 Honda CRV. My cat and I have been living in my car since July after leaving an abusive relationship and miscarrying the child from that situation in my car . The past few months have been hard, dealing with postpartum on top of my mental illnesses and navigating the new life of being homeless. I had to check myself into inpatient care (and received no help or medication). I am still very fragile. Everything I owned was in my car: all of my clothes, food, supplies, and cat supplies. My car was the only thing keeping my cat and me from sleeping on the streets and making it possible to continue on. Now we have nothing and I am unfortunately at the end of my rope.

I am an ex-SW who can no longer work in that occupation due to trauma from being sexually trafficked and abused for 5 years. I finally got new employment and was supposed to start my new career the next day before my car was stolen. I need a car for my new career as an in home caregiver to be able to drive to clients homes, drive clients to their appointments, do grocery shopping for my clients, and to be able to reach clients rapidly in case of an emergency.

I need help with money to purchase a new car, to pay off my stolen car loan ($6,500), get new clothes, new blankets, new food, and cat supplies.
