Help Katrina feel the love she shares

We are writing this in hopes of getting much needed support for Katrina and her family. Katrina opened her home during the fires to many people. Her bills were very high as a result of having so many people showering, eating, and washing belongings at her house, etc. She figured they would pay off the bills eventually and that helping people was what was truly important.

As life would have it Katrina fell ill and was no longer able to work leaving her family on one income. Her husband continued to work but with the reduced income they have found themselves scratching at the surface and only paying the minimums. They are now behind in rent, and after paying just enough to keep the lights on and have no money left for food.

They have looked into every avenue available for help, but they make just $100 above the income limits (which don't include rent cost) to receive any assistance or deductions, but not enough to survive.They are very hardworking people and asking for help has been very hard.

If you would like to pay toward some of the bills directly, bring food, offer help in the form of rides, and medical advocacy all things would be very appreciated.
