Charles (Duane) Poiroux was in a tragic accident on Interstate-10 on January 3, 2025. He was life-flighted to the hospital where he remains in critical condition. Both his arms are broken; both legs have rods placed in them, with one rod all the way to his hip due to his hip being shattered. Needless to say, he has a long road to recovery. The vehicle he was driving was he and his wife Katrina's only vehicle. Unfortunately, Katrina lost her job today and does not qualify for FMLA.

A family friend has an affordable vehicle available that friends are hoping to secure for them with the funds raised through this fundraiser. Any extra money raised would go towards their gas, groceries, and bills.
