They say the first two years after a spinal cord injury are the most critical for recovery. Whether that statistic is meant to encourage or to caution, I know this to be true: since my injury on June 15, 2024, I have fought relentlessly for every bit of progress I have made. Nothing about this journey has been easy. Every movement regained, every ounce of strength rebuilt, and every piece of independence restored has required perseverance, resilience, and faith. I am proud of how far I have come — but as I approach the two-year mark, I am not ready to plateau. I am not willing to look back and wonder if I could have done more. I want to continue building. I want to keep progressing. I want to keep proving — to myself above all — that this injury does not define the limits of my future.
To do that, I need access to specialized rehabilitation equipment that will allow me to retrain my body with the repetition and intensity necessary for continued improvement. Unfortunately, this equipment carries a significant financial cost — one that I cannot manage on my own. Between my birthday on April 20 and my “rebirth day” on June 15, I am asking for support. This is not an easy request to make. After working so hard to reclaim independence, asking for financial help requires vulnerability. But the possibility of stalling my recovery because of limited resources is far more difficult to accept.
If you feel led to contribute, share, or support in prayer, I would be deeply grateful. Every donation will go directly toward obtaining the equipment needed to continue this next phase of my recovery. I am not finished healing. I am not finished fighting. And I am determined to see how far this journey can go.
This is the piece of equipment that I need to get me standing, right now it’s currently on sale, however I don’t know how long this sale is going to go for…
Please, I have not been able to stand in almost two years. I NEED your help!!!
