On February 5, 2025, Katrina had to go through a full hysterectomy for severe precancerous cells that had been found. One week before this surgery, she was faced with a huge financial setback that took nearly $2,000 out of her hands. Two and a half weeks later she fell and tore a ligament in her ankle. She has been unable to work for seven weeks since surgery and due to her ankle injury, is still struggling to find mobility to get back into full swing. Jason has been working as full time as possible throughout all of this, but has also developed a rib injury while trying to work on his truck, and also has had to miss several days for various appointments with doctors and has not been able to get a full week of pay for about a month. Our bills are entirely out of hand and our car is at risk of being repossessed, but we have finally got the truck running again. Our electric is due to be shut off and our phones and water bill are behind as well. We don’t often ask anyone for help with our personal finances, but we do not see another way right now. Any help at all would be so appreciated, as we are starting to become truly worried about what the next one to two weeks will be like for us without groceries or electricity in the house.
