On Wednesday, June 19th the unimaginable happened. Katie was urgently rushed to the hospital in Beaumont, TX where she was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm and transferred to Hermann Memorial Hospital to undergo several procedures to save her life. As of today she remains in ICU fighting for her life. We are trusting God for a full recovery. With that being said, the doctor said Katie will be in the hospital for at least 2 months, maybe longer. This has been both physically and financially difficult for Katie and her husband.

I’ve known Katie since our girls were about 3 years old. She’s been a second mom to my children and the very best friend I have ever had. Miles put distance between us but she’s always been there for me and now I want to be there for her. I would very much appreciate any donations, no matter how small to assist in paying for her care.
