Help Katie Zereski Fight Colon Cancer !

On March 18, 2021 what turned into a trip to the ER for what Katie thought was a bowel obstruction turned into her worst nightmare. She was diagnosed with metastatic colon cancer and under went several procedures, emergency surgery, and countless labs and procedures.

After 6 days she finally was released to go home on a restricted diet and aggressive chemo schedule. She wasn’t alone! By her side every step was her army of friends and family. Vowing to help her stay strong, stay positive and do whatever they could to help to her battle this monster until it is gone.

They all worked together helping with schedules, food, doctors appointments and rides to Umass and Dana Farber.

Katie is currently undergoing aggressive chemotherapy treatments and as a result is not working presently. She had to take a leave from her job in marketing at the Fitness Asylum as well as leave her coaching responsibilities and business with close friend Krystle Rutkiewicz. If you know Katie, you definitely know how much she loves her job and all the clients.

Katie is a single mom of 2 amazing kids and is fiercely independent. She would never ask anyone for help which is why we are on her behalf. We all know too well the financial impact of unforeseen medical expenses. Insurance is comprehensive but there are always holes.

Vowing to carry her story and create awareness for diagnostic and genetic testing, this diagnosis will not keep Katie down. Expect to hear a lot from her in the future, when she is able. In the meantime, we are humbling asking fir your help. Any donation will be greatly appreciated.
