Help Katie, Remmy, and Baby Samira!

Baby Samira was born on Thursday, May 13, at 28 weeks. At 2lbs, 4oz, she is teeny tiny. And while she's doing okay for now, she (and her parents) have a long road ahead.

Her sweet mommy Katie edits books and teaches writing, and her daddy Remmington is a construction worker. They have insurance, but there are still some questions as to what it will actually cover. And, of course, there are a host of expenses that insurance won't cover anyway. And with a baby born three months early, there are MANY expenses they weren't expecting at all.

Samira will remain in the NICU for 8 to 10 weeks, while Katie and Remmington must go back and forth. Katie is also still recovering from her c-section.
