Katie Priscott is a Concord Theatricals Off Off Broadway Festival semi-finalist! Stephanie Christopher is Not Welcome Here, originally developed by the Youth Artists Project in Wilton Connecticut, is making its way to NYC, but we need your help to get there. A donation to this play will support studio space rental, travel, and other production expenses.
About the Festival:
Stephanie Christopher... is one of 30 plays (out of over 750 entries!) invited to perform at the festival in New York City July 29 - August 2. Finalists will be selected from those performances, and then the top 6 plays will be published.
About the Play:
Stephanie Christopher is back in her hometown after her novel becomes a bestseller. More specifically, she has returned to stop the school board from banning her book. Outside the board meeting, she comes toe-to-toe with Morgan Turner, a high school senior in complete support of the ban. When their conversation takes an unexpected personal turn, Morgan and Stephanie are both forced to reckon with what they are truly fighting for.
