Help Katie Madison Jones Heal After a Devastating Accident
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
I never thought I’d be writing something like this—but life can change in the blink of an eye. And on a quiet evening not long ago, it did just that for my dear friend Katie Madison Jones.
Katie had just finished a workout at Orange Theory—something she loved because it made her feel strong, grounded, and alive. As she stepped out of the studio, in the crosswalk, on her way back to her car, she was struck by a vehicle. In a moment, the world turned upside down.
Katie was rushed to the hospital with multiple serious injuries—fractures, internal trauma, and a concussion that left her disoriented and in tremendous pain. She's stable now, but the road ahead is long and uncertain. She’s facing weeks (maybe months) of physical therapy, follow-up surgeries, and a mountain of medical bills that are already beginning to pile up.
And still, even from a hospital bed, Katie is Katie. She cracks jokes between pain meds. She apologizes for “being a burden” (she’s not). She worries more about how we’re doing than about herself. That’s just who she is—an incredibly kind, funny, radiant soul who lights up every room she walks into.
Katie is more than just a friend—she’s a sister to three younger siblings who look up to her with awe, a daughter who would do anything for her family, and the kind of friend who always remembers your birthday and shows up when you need someone the most. She’s a natural caregiver, a secret poet, a loud laugher, and the person who once gave away her winter coat to a stranger in the snow. That’s just Katie.
Right now, she’s in a place where she needs us. She wore her pain like a wedding dress—elegant in the face of agony, carrying it with grace that no one should ever be asked to bear. But she shouldn’t have to carry the weight of these bills alone. And that’s where this community can step in.
All funds raised will go directly toward Katie’s medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, and any necessary support during her recovery. Every donation, no matter how small, is a step closer to helping her get back on her feet—literally and emotionally.
If you can give, thank you. If you can share, thank you. If you can send love and good vibes, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Katie is a fighter. But even the strongest people need a village behind them.
With hope and love,
