Dear Friends and Family,
In the face of adversity, love and support become our greatest allies. Our beloved Katie has been in the hospital going on 10 days now, bravely battling onset heart failure and arrhythmia. Despite enduring one cardioversion procedure, she now faces the need for a cardiac ablation to pave the way for a healthier heart. Katie is to be transferred to a larger hospital in Austin which includes an electrophysiology department. Katie is the most caring, compassionate wife/mom/friend that I’ve ever known. I admire her greatly for her passion and advocacy of our children’s health and the great woman that she is.
With these recent developments I’ve tried to be by her side as much as possible. My Mom has flown in to help watch the girls but I’ve been taking unpaid leave from work. We’re asking for contributions that will not only aid in Katie's recovery but also ensure that our family can focus solely on providing the love and care she needs during this challenging time. ❤️
