Uterine cancer, leading to a full hysterectomy and additional cancer treatments post surgery,

is the news my sweet friend Katie heard recently with little time to prepare before surgery.

Anyone that knows this woman, knows how selfless and giving she is. However, cancer doesn’t care and this hit hard. Hard mental, physically and financially. Katie told me at dinner last week that she hoped to be back at work in just 4 days post surgery because the bills don’t stop coming just because cancer turns your life upside down.
