Help Katie Fight Stage 4 Cancer

Just before Thanksgiving my sister Katie got the worst news anyone could receive. She went in to the doctor not feeling well and left knowing that her cancer has returned. Katie's breast cancer is back and this time it is stage 4. It has reached her chest, lungs, and spine. She is going to endure rigorous treatment including radiation and chemo in hopes to stop the spread. The toll this is taking on her body has left her unable to work or do much more than attend her appointments. Despite health insurance she is dealing with medical bills piling up in addition to day to day expenses and was still trying to tackle her debt from her previous cancer when this started. Katies husband works as much as possible while taking care of her and the girls in the midst of this impossible situation. All funds from these donations will go directly to Katie and her family to help with medical expenses and lost income.

Katie does not have life insurance, and in the event that the worst happens, any remaining funds will go towards taking care of her girls.

Update: Katie did lose her job in this past Summer (2022), due to the extensive symptoms brought on by her chemos and cancer. With her prognosis, Katie and Dustin have traveled to various other cancer centers for multiple opinions. With all opinions seemingly the same, they have chosen to continue with care in Columbia, Mo with the "standard of care" currently being their only option. We are hoping that a trial opens up at some point, but until then we will continue to pray and help them make as many memories as possible.
