Meet My Sister Katie ❤️

Meet my sister Katie an incredible mum to her two beautiful boys, Cameron and Blake. Katie is one of the strongest, most selfless people you could ever meet. She’s always been the one helping others, putting everyone before herself, and doing everything she can to create a loving, happy life for her children.

Her Diagnosis ❤️

In January 2022, our world was turned upside down when Katie was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer a rare and aggressive form known as Inflammatory Breast Cancer, which had already spread to her bones.

Since then, she has faced everything head-on with courage and determination.

Katie has undergone:

Through it all, she has remained unbelievably strong our very own superwoman.

Devastating News ❤️

Despite everything she has endured, on 8th March, our lives changed again.

Katie was at home, doing something she loved cooking Sunday lunch for her family  when her 14-year-old son found her having a seizure in the kitchen.

She was rushed to hospital, where after multiple seizures, doctors delivered the devastating news:

The devastating moment we learnt the cancer had spread to her brain and liver.

More Heartbreak ❤️

Even in the middle of all this, Katie continued to put her family first. She organised a joyful Easter egg hunt for the children creating precious memories despite everything she was going through.

But shortly afterwards, she was rushed back into hospital again.

Doctors confirmed the cancer is now progressing rapidly and has spread further to her:

Ovaries

Lungs

Stomach

Why We Need Your Help

The future is uncertain, especially with such a rare and aggressive cancer.

But one thing is certain:

We will do everything in our power to give Katie the chance to keep fighting.

To give her:

Katie would never ask for help herself. She has always been fiercely independent and the one supporting everyone else.
