I’m raising funds for my colleague and good friend Katie, who is currently in hospital waiting for a life-saving heart transplant.

Katie is such a kind and genuine person, and it’s been incredibly hard seeing her go through this. While she focuses on staying strong and waiting for a new heart, everyday life and household bills don’t just stop. The last thing she should have to worry about right now is how things are being managed at home while she’s in hospital.

I wanted to set up this fundraiser to help take some of that stress off her shoulders, so she can concentrate fully on her health and recovery. Katie means a lot to the people she works with and to her friends, and we want to come together to support her during this incredibly difficult time.

Any donation, no matter how small, will go towards helping with Katie’s household bills while she’s in hospital. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would also mean so much.
