I am reaching out to ask for support during this difficult time in my sister’s life. On November 5th my sister, Katie, was in a horrible car accident during which she sustained over a dozen injuries. While it's been very challenging, we are grateful she is currently recovering in a rehabilitation facility where she is learning how to walk again while also healing. Along with the emotional heaviness from her injuries, the long recovery time, and not being home for the holidays, there is the financial burden from being out of work and hospital bills.
