Help Katie and Her Family Through This Battle

To know Katie is to love Katie and to know the Sargents is to know true love, happiness, and positivity. Katie was recently diagnosed with stage 3 inflammatory breast cancer, and pregnant with her second baby girl. To help save this incredible family from stressors elsewhere we are asking for any help you can give to accommodate the next steps of their fight.

Katie is a strong mother of 2, a selfless wife, an inspirational friend, daughter, aunt and sister. She is a second grade teacher who is always willing to help everyone around her. She unfortunately has to take unpaid leave for the rest of the school year. Katie is such a continuous light in our lives—kind, selfless, and always ready to lend a helping hand. Now, it’s our turn to stand by her side as she faces this battle. The challenges of cancer treatment, combined with the joys and demands of pregnancy, can be overwhelming. The financial burdens associated with medical bills, treatments, a new baby, and everyday expenses are mounting, and we want to ensure that Katie, Kevin and their family can focus on what truly matters: Katie's health and the arrival of her little one.
