After issues with her legs giving out and multiple falls, my daughter Kati never dreamed the doctor would tell her that she had a Lacunar Stroke at the age of 30. Since her doctor didn't understand either, more tests were ran to find that Kati had an ASD (a substantial hole in her heart). A perfectly healthy child her whole life, no issues ever showing that she had any medical issues but now she is now facing open-heart surgery on December 10th. She is looking at a hospital stay of 4-7 days an hour away from home, 36 rehab appointments and at least 2 months out of work.
