Help Kathy With Cancer Treatment

To any who know her, my mother Kathy is a strong willed individual. She's always been a shoulder to lean on for so many people: family, friends, or even strangers who needed it. She's been a mother to my friends who couldn't get the support they needed from their own. She's been a helping hand to our neighbors in times of need, or just around to help. And anyone who knows her has seen what lengths she's gone to make someone smile.

Now, though, she's the one who needs help. 

My mother has been diagnosed with Small-cell carcinoma; or in layman terms, Stage 4 Lung Cancer. She is extremely weak, unable to leave bed most of the time without getting out of breath and panicky, and can rarely eat. We have been starting treatments and holding onto hope that something can be done-- if anything, to at least make her more comfortable. 

Though even though we have hope in this grim situation, there is also the realistic side to things.

This 'gofundme' is for any overflowing costs of medical tools and assistance that insurance may not cover, small travel costs to all the different treatment centers around South Florida, and in the worst case scenario-- the cost of memorial services.  

Right now the goal is $8000 based only on tallying up how much medical devices and services cost at this time, but it could go up or down. 

Any financial help will be extremely appreciated, but just reading this and sharing it can help enough.
