On October 12, 2023, my mother, Kathy Ryder, suffered a terrible fall while she was in Bangor. She ended up breaking her shoulder, arm, hip, and femur. On October 13th, she had surgery on her hip. She was at St. Joseph’s hospital in Bangor until today and has since been discharged to a rehab facility. At this point, it is looking like she will be, at minimum, 2 months in the rehab facility. Estimated costs for her stay at the hospital and rehab is expected to be at least $8k after insurance covers their part.

Anyone that has met my mother knows what a caring, compassionate person she is. She would be the first person to jump in and help in someone’s time of need. She is very active in her community and church. She is not the type of person who wants to ask for help, so we are asking for her. We know that there are many people out there who love her, support her, and will want to help her in her time of need. Please consider donating and sharing this fundraiser.
