Hi, my name is Brittney and I'm fundraising for my mom, Kathy. She was in a car accident on 9/8/21. She suffered broken ribs, a broken hip, and a broken heel. She was on her way home from the grocery store with cans of food in the backseat when she rear ended a side dump truck on a gravel road near her home. The cans of food hit her in the head in the accident and caused some lacerations. She has 21 stiches in her forehead and 15 staples on top of her head. If there is one lesson she wants everyone to learn from this, it is that you should always put your groceries in the trunk.

 

She is in a lot of pain and will be having surgery for her broken hip. This will start her long road to recovery. She will be without income during this time and she has two boys at home that need full time care. Russwin will be 14 on 9/12 and Garret will be 9 on 9/14. I am hoping to raise money for medical expenses, meals for the family, supplement the loss of income and eventually, a new car for my mom as hers is totaled.

 

Anyone who knows my mom knows that she would do anything for anybody. She cares so much for others, that sometimes she forgets to take care of herself. So please, if you can, lend a helping hand in caring for my mom so that she can focus on getting better. Thank you!
