Hello! My name is Shianne and I am fundraising for my mother, Kathy Melvin. My mother has just been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. She was cleaning houses for a living and will be unable to do that until she is well so she has no income. This money will go straight to her to help pay for out of pocket medical expenses and utility bills at her house. My mother is in very bad shape. She came into the hospital for a collapsed lung. They then found an infection in her lung and had to remove 1/2 of a lobe. They sent this off to be biopsied and it came back as cancer. Her lungs still have infection in them and she is in the hospital trying to fight it off. Once she fights it off, she will get to start treatment for the cancer.
