Everyone who knows Kathy knows she’s the last person to ask for a hand. She’s the smart, funny, adventurous friend who tells it exactly like it is. In true Kathy fashion, she isn't sugarcoating her current reality. She is currently facing stage 3, triple negative, aggressive breast cancer—or, as she’s bluntly and affectionately dubbed it, "the boob cunt." Because Kathy is so fiercely independent, she would never ask for help herself. That’s why we—her "family" of friends—are stepping up to do it for her. Kathy is very sick, and the path ahead is a heavy one. Her boyfriend, Cam, has already reduced his work hours to be her primary caregiver.
