Help Kathy & John Rebuild After Devastating Fire

Tuesday, February 24th, the lives of Kathleen (Kathy) and John Bell were changed forever. A fire that started in a neighboring unit quickly spread to their Los Alamitos townhouse, where they had lived and made memories for over 15 years.

While we are relieved that Kathy and John are safe, the heartbreak is immense. They lost nearly everything they owned—furniture, clothing, and irreplaceable family heirlooms. Most tragically, the fire took the life of their cherished family cat, Pippa.

As a friend and coworker of their daughter, Cyndi Newell, I am reaching out to our community for help. Kathy and John are currently displaced and staying in a hotel, facing the daunting task of starting over from scratch.

Rebuilding: Purchasing furniture and household items to turn a new space into a home.
