Kathy Dominguez is my friend’s wife, and in the two years I’ve known her, she’s brought so much light and positivity into my life. She’s a fighter, incredibly strong, and her kindness has touched everyone around her. Now, Kathy is on hospice after a tragic medical error at Banner Medical in Casper, Wyoming, where the wrong stent was placed in her right leg. This mistake caused inoperable necrosis of her limb, leaving her without blood supply and causing this end of life situation. It’s heartbreaking for all of us who care about her. More than anything, she wants to spend her final months at home, surrounded by the people she loves, rather than in a nursing home.
Kathy’s dying wish is to see the ocean and the Grand Canyon—two places she’s never had the chance to visit. She also wants to visit family members who can’t travel to her, and needs help with gas money to see loved ones and fulfill her bucket list. With her birthday coming up in May and less than six months to live, this spring and summer are her last.
The funds raised will help cover Kathy’s travel expenses, motel stays, and help her stay comfortable while traveling and as she transitions out of her body and back to the earth. Your support will help her fulfill her bucket list and spend precious time with her family. Please consider helping Kathy experience these moments of joy, peace, and comfort. Your kindness will mean the world to her and to all of us who love her.
