This GoFund Me is to help my mother Kathy Young through this difficult time. She works full time but has minimal benefits through work, no PTO and is uninsured. She has been diagnosed with osteomyelitis of her foot which is an infection that has gotten down into the bone. She lives alone and supports herself fully. Her work was closed several days during the holidays leaving her with several short checks and now she is expected to be in the hospital for atleast another 4-5 days and maybe longer. She is then anticipated to need long term IV antibiotics for up to six weeks. She likes her job and is eager to get back but she is expected to be out 1-2 weeks at minimum. She is very anxious and nervous about how she is going to make ends meet so I’m asking for your support so that she can put her focus on healing. No amount is too small.
