Help Kathy and Ken Rebuild Their Home

Ken and Kathy Miele are my parents who live in Rossmoor. This year has been more than challenging. They both had major health problems earlier in the year that they are still dealing with as best they can.

On Saturday, August 21st a devastating flash flood caused by Hurricane Henri ravaged their home. They waded through 18 inches of water scooped up their dog Rafferty (who had pneumonia) and made it through the night.

In the weeks that followed they have lost almost all of their belongings- floors, furniture, rugs, pictures, clothes, heirlooms, and irreplaceable items.

Luckily they have wonderful family, friends, and neighbors to lean on, but financially this is devastating.

We are asking for your generosity at this time and thank you for your thoughts and prayers. This is going to be a long haul and we appreciate all of the love and good wishes they have already received.

All proceeds will go directly to Ken and Kathy.
