So, last week, our dear friend Kathryn (Jenny's mama) was involved in a really bad car accident on Hwy 12. Kind strangers pulled her from the car, on fire and partially crushed under a truck -- we think the fact that it could slightly slide under the truck is what saved her life. Alas, she was at fault, and that sweet car of hers gave its very last gift by protecting her life, but, in the process, was completely totaled.

We are fundraising for a "new" used car for her as she did not have insurance coverage for her car (only for the other driver). We imagine her singing "all I want for xmas is my two front teeth (which she thankfully still has!) and… a new set of wheels, a new set of wheels”. :)))

Kathryn is currently healing at home with an ankle/leg injury (absolutely astounding that that is all), a little battered and bruised, but nothing that won't heal with all the love around her...

If you are moved to donate, she could use all the tender love she can get. She takes such sweet care of those around her and used that car to ferry people around to appointments, food shopping and the like. Now its her turn to be on the receiving end …taking it easy and slow. Whatever you can contribute is deeply appreciated and we wish you a happy holiday season in Kathryn style!
