My name is Kathrine, and I’m raising funds to get a new prosthetic after a long journey with limb loss. Twenty years ago, I was in a car accident that resulted in a right foot amputation. Since then, I’ve worked hard to adapt and live a full life. Unfortunately, this year on March 31st, I needed surgery due to ongoing pain, and now I no longer have a prosthesis that fits.

A new prosthetic will make a huge difference for me. It will restore my mobility, allow me to return to work, and help me get back to the activities I love—like working out and going for hikes. Right now, I’m unable to do these things, and it’s been a real challenge both physically and emotionally. The funds raised will go directly toward the cost of a new prosthetic, fittings, and any necessary therapy to help me adjust.
