I’ve been going back and forth about sharing this, but our family is facing a very serious medical situation and we truly need prayers and support right now.

I was diagnosed with severe scoliosis back in 2009 after a horseback riding accident that caused multiple fractures in my spine. Since then, I’ve lived with constant back pain and ongoing complications, including fractures in my L1 and L2 that never fully healed.
This past summer, things took a turn for the worse. I started having recurring infections and ended up in the ER multiple times. After my third visit, my white blood cell count was dangerously high, and I was referred to an oncologist. Since then, the infection has continued to spread, and my back pain—what I used to call “normal”—has become unbearable.
My most recent MRI showed that my scoliosis has worsened significantly, progressing another 60 degrees. Now, doctors are deeply concerned that I may have a spinal epidural abscess, which is a very serious and potentially life-threatening infection. I am currently undergoing more testing to confirm everything.
While I am overwhelmed and honestly scared, I am holding onto my faith and believing for healing in Jesus’ name. I know God has the final say, and I refuse to let fear take over. The enemy has been attacking our family hard, but we are standing strong in faith and trusting God through this storm.
Please continue to pray for me—for healing, strength, and peace. Pray for my husband as well, that he stays strong through all of this. He has been doing his best to provide, he has been working at his job that he loves , but financially we are struggling more than ever.
Right now, I am unable to work due to my condition and am still in the process of waiting for disability. We’ve tried to get help, including applying for loans, but haven’t had any success.
If you feel led to help our family during this time—whether through prayers, sharing this post, or even a donation—it would mean more than we can express. If you would prefer to help directly with medical bills, please reach out to me privately and I can provide that information.
Every prayer, every share, and every bit of support truly makes a difference. Thank you for standing with us during this difficult time. ❤️

Hey everyone, I wanted to give an update First, thank you so much to everyone who has helped, reached out, or kept us in your prayers — it truly means more than we can put into words. And to those who aren’t able to help right now, we completely understand and still appreciate you thinking of us. I know some of y’all have had questions or wanted to know if we’ve tried certain resources. You’re more than welcome to call or message me — I can go over details, share what we’ve tried, and even provide receipts if needed. I truly hate having to ask for help, but this has become our last resort. If you know of any resources or programs that might help, please reach out. As far as my medical situation and why we’re needing help with bills: I was previously on MAP, but since we moved out of Travis County, I’m no longer eligible. I applied for Medicaid after MAP ended, but I was denied full coverage and only approved for Healthy Women’s Medicaid, which only covers basic women’s health and pregnancy-related care. I’ve been working with my disability caseworker, and she let me know my pre-effectuation letter has been mailed. Once I receive that, I can reapply for Medicaid and should be approved — so we are very close. In the meantime, I have to pay out of pocket for doctor visits and prescriptions. My primary care doctor is willing to set up payment arrangements, but unfortunately the oncologist requires payment upfront. I’ve been using GoodRx coupons whenever possible to help with prescription costs. Our electricity is through PEC, and unfortunately they don’t offer direct assistance programs. They did provide a list of community programs — I have reached out and applied to all of them. I also completed a medically necessary form with my doctor and submitted all required documents. While I know God is in my favor, these programs are not guaranteed and currently have waitlists. We were able to get the power turned back on by paying the minimum, thanks to my sweet grandma However, the remaining balance is $569.63, which must be paid by 4/15. If not, service will be shut off again, and additional reconnection and membership fees will be added. Like I said, I am very close to getting disability, and once that and Medicaid kick in, we will be okay — it’s just the waiting period that’s been difficult. My income tax refund has also not come in yet. Some of you know Roli’s history, and some don’t. It’s a more personal topic, but it’s also the most important. If you’d like to message me, I can share more details and a breakdown of what he needs (yes, I made a spreadsheet — the teacher in me is still there, I just physically can’t be in the classroom right now, or I absolutely would be with my babies). Again, thank you all for your kindness, support, and prayers during this time. It truly means everything to us
