This fundraiser is for Kathleen Maguire — a woman who has endured more pain in one lifetime than most could imagine, yet continues to meet every new day with courage, kindness, and a heart of gold.

From surviving physical and sexual abuse as a child, to domestic violence and bullying in adulthood, Kathleen’s life has been marked by suffering, cruelty, and judgment — often from those who should have shown love and compassion.

For years, she has been mocked and trolled online because of her appearance — the same appearance that reflects the trauma she has carried since childhood. But instead of giving up, Kathleen has fought back — with bravery, dignity, and hope.

When I met Kathleen, I saw past the pain and recognised a beautiful soul who deserved a second chance. Through the support of my clinic, Fleek Aesthetics, and the kindness of incredible professionals — including the Liverpool Bleph Lady, who performed her upper and lower blepharoplasty completely free — we’ve begun the journey of helping Kathleen heal from the outside in.
