Hi to my FB friends near and far!

I'm reaching out to you with a heartfelt request for financial help for my friend, Kathleen Gooden.

We have been friends since High School days. I know her to be a very kind, loving person and a dedicated single Mom. She has put herself thru school and since started her own Bookkeeping business with many happy clients -several that have used her services for fifteen+ years.

Then Covid hit. Unfortunately, before she was able to be vaxed, both she and her son fell ill with this dreadful virus. She was unable to work and on top of being gravely ill herself, she was stressed over her son also being very ill....and they were both sick for over three months.....with several more to gain her strength back to be functional.

Sadly, while her clients understood why she could not perform her services, they needed to keep their businesses afloat, and were forced to go else where. Katie was both unemployed and unable to collect SBA funds or unemployment! Can you imagine the stress???

Then, life threw her another sucker punch- She needed a hip replacement but worse, her son developed Adult onset diabetes ! Medical bills galore....savings depleted, with NO income and credit cards maxed....

She has recovered from covid, but has spent her time searching daily for a job.  She has also been focused on her son's health, as any Mom would.

THIS IS URGENT!

I am asking for you to join me in donating any amount you can to help get Katie back on her feet financially- especially to be able to pay this months rent, and relieve some of the financial stress she bears. Truly, but for the Grace of God, go you or I.

I know my Carmel Valley friends and neighbors to be generous, loving and so giving. I'm asking you now to please help me help Katie become whole again.
