My name is Kathleen, and I was diagnosed with breast cancer this past July 2024. I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma. Due to my diagnosis, I have not been able to work at my job as a preschool teacher.

I have been a preschool teacher for 33 years, and it has been heartbreaking for me to not work at my job that I love. I took a leave of absence without pay to go through my treatment and get through this tough time.
