Help Kathy with her Covid Medical Expenses

Hi everyone,

I'm Matt, a close friend of Kathia  Miranda Carrillo "Kathy"who I've been using for many years help my family, friends and I with driving, activities and so many other things every time we are in Cabo San Lucas. She has become part of my extended family and we all love her very much.

Kathy came down with Covid and has been fighting it for over 30 days. She has been on oxygen pretty much the entire time as her lungs have been hit hard by the virus. Her kids and Luis Oropeza were taking good care of her and getting/paying for all the meds and machines needed. Then, in the beginning of August, Kathy's breathing was so difficult she had to be placed in a coma at a local hospital and the prognosis was not good at all. GREAT NEWS.....Kathy came out of the coma and is doing better. She is still in the hospital and will be there for a while longer. But Luis has been ale to speak to her and she is coherent. Long road ahead for her, but with the support of her family and friends, we all know she will fully recover. I mean, Kathy is the toughest person I know.

While the fight will go to Kathy, it has left her with some pretty large medical bills as she has no health insurance, not to mention having no income for what I expect to be 2 months. Luis has graciously covered many of her expenses and now it is time for her friends and family to step-up and help out. When I told my kids about Kathy, they were devastated and asked how they can help. Each one is dipping into their savings to give what they can. I am hoping others feel the same way we do and give something as well.

Kathy makes every trip to Cabo an amazing one. She is always up for whatever you need and does so with the biggest smile.....no matter what time of night.

She is a beautiful person, a true friend and now needs your help.

To ensure the past medical bills are paid and there are funds for future ones, I will be working with Kathy to pay the bills and reimburse others who have helped pay any bills like Luis.
