My name is Katherine, and I’ve become a safe haven for the cats that nobody else stops for. The injured ones. The abandoned ones. The scared ones. The ones left outside with no food, no warmth, and no chance. I didn’t plan to become a rescuer… I just couldn’t turn my back. Every cat I found was another life begging for help — and I couldn’t look away.
Over time, I’ve taken in strays, sick cats, kittens with no mother, abandoned pets, and cats that others would have given up on. I feed them. I treat them. I give them warmth and safety. I earn their trust. And most of all, I give them love. But the truth is… I’ve been doing all of this alone, and the costs have become overwhelming: food, litter, vet visits, medications, emergency care, spay/neuter procedures, cleaning supplies, and safe shelter. I’ve used my own money, my own home, and my own time because these animals deserve a chance at life. But I’ve reached a point where I can’t keep rescuing without support. And turning away a suffering animal breaks me.
This GoFundMe will help me continue feeding and caring for the cats I’ve already rescued, spay and neuter them so they stop reproducing on the streets, provide medical care for sick and injured cats, give them safe, warm shelter, rescue the ones who are still out there waiting, and keep them alive until they find forever homes. I don’t do this for myself. I do it because they have no one else. Every donation helps feed a cat, treat an infection, or save a life that would otherwise be lost.
